GAMMOND GPR
After many years as trenching specialists, we have seen the need for a system to find as many underground utilities and obstacles as is possible.
To further this requirement, over the past 6 years, we have researched and tried the many systems available.
As a result, we now have a dedicated Ground Probing Radar department.
We use the most advanced Multi-antenna, Multi-frequency systems available. This gives us the best available Radar Data from which to identify the acquired targets.
These systems are not to be confused with the single antenna (low cost)
systems currently available. Single antenna machines can be useful for real-time detection of buried objects, but are not able to collect as much information.
Our Multi-Antenna, Multi-frequency systems collect more than 5 times the data in a single pass. Because the Antennas are cross-linked, a better "3D" view is obtained. This data is then post-processed giving 5 to 8 simultaneous viewing windows, enabling the operator to more easily identify linear underground objects.
G.P.R can detect objects of any material that is different, in nature, to the surrounding soil e.g. plastic pipes, cables, foundations and voids etc.
Antennas and software are available for structure analysis (concrete bridges etc.), ground layering and archeological investigation.
Data can be provided directly to CAD, Grid print-outs or Mark-up as required.
Our service is currently widely used for "pre-dig" surveys in Power Stations, Construction Sites and Utilities.
